This unit is designed for an advanced level grade 10 Social Studies class. The class, while very bright, is easily bored and distracted. There are more boys than girls in the class. They have expressed an interest in sports and technology.
Attach your UbD unit plan (Part 2) and your AASL plan (Part 3). New Madeline Hunter lesson plan entitled "sports, apartheid lesson", which represents Day 1 of the UBD, is also attached.
